Our deep network of public and private sector contacts, combined with our local associate presence in most markets, means that we are consistently able to deliver compelling visit programmes for delegates regardless of the project or target industry sector. We typically manage all mission logistics from start to finish, including hotel, transportation, and travel.

Our trade mission services include:

  • Partner search and business-to-business matchmaking including outreach to potential business leads on behalf of mission companies
  • Individual appointment-setting and personal agenda development for companies represented on the mission
  • Group meetings with large companies, public officials, association leaders, and other market influencers
  • Visits to industrial sites and other relevant locations
  • Transportation, accommodation, and travel logistics (as determined by the client/project)
  • Meeting packets and other informational materials
  • Market research overview of a particular industry or location (as determined by the client/project)
  • Facilitation of pre-/post-mission workshops and/or other debriefing session to discuss items for follow-up and lessons learned (as determined by the client/project)

Over the years we have facilitated delegations of all aims and types. We have the ability to put together personalised business development agendas for a cluster of companies, consisting of multiple individual meetings per company with potential business prospects in a given market. We are also highly experienced at organising and delivering industry tours or “learning journeys,” where delegates meet with a range of stakeholders in a given market and see its development up close, while building new international partnerships and opportunities for collaboration. Recently we have been organising many such projects for our European and North American clients in the areas of smart cities and smart grids.

Each project is determined by the specifications and preferences of our clients, with our core team and local associates working together to ensure a high-value agenda regardless of the location. We avoid frivolous costs and only seek out meetings with a genuine usefulness for both delegates and hosts. We recognise that trade missions are a significant investment of time and (often public) resources, and aim to help our clients maximise this investment by ensuring that mission activities are worthwhile and are supplemented at the end by measurable action and genuine follow-up.

SMART GRIDS LEARNING JOURNEYS

Client(s): New Brunswick Power and Opportunities New Brunswick

 

Sector: Energy and smart grid technology

 

Project: Learning missions to the UK and Germany focused on the smart grids and energy storage sector in Europe. Multipe companies represented on both missions from a large utility company to startups/SMEs. Kinetic Cubed arranged meetings with corporates, startups, research institutions, and other market stakeholders, as well as site visits to relevant demonstration projects. For both projects a general market research overview was also developed in-house by Kinetic Cubed and presented to delegates as part of a welcoming visioning workshop. All logistics arranged and organized by Kinetic Cubed.

INDIAN MARKET ENTRY MISSION

Client: Maritime Energy Association

 

Sector: Multi-sector

 

Project: Personalized meeting schedules and logistical support for a group of Canadian companies visiting the Indian market.

EDUCATION MISSION TO JAPAN AND KOREA

Client(s): Memorial University of Newfoundland and Canadian Federal Government

 

Sector: Higher education

 

Project: Support to an educational mission visiting Seoul and Tokyo during the Imagine Canada education fairs, which focus on recruiting Japanese and Korean students to Canadian universities. Kinetic Cubed were responsible for matchmaking and appointment setting for the respective Canadian educational institutions represented on the mission.

MULTI-REGION MISSION TO TURKEY

Client(s): Welsh Assembly Government, joined by other regions within the UK

 

Sector: Environmental

 

Project: A multi-client market visit to Turkey for companies from three separate regions within the United Kingdom.  The program featured site visits and matchmaking events, with a total of over 200 face-to-face meetings taking place.

TURKEY/UK ECONOMIC COLLABORATION

Client: Abigem/European Union

 

Sector: Multi-sector

 

Project: As part of an EU-financed matchmaking project, Kinetic Cubed carried out a multi-sector, matchmaking initiative on behalf of Turkish companies looking to find strategic alliance partners with UK companies and facilitated two inward trade missions to the UK from Turkey. The project involved researching and qualifying appointments with UK buyers, meeting UK companies and following up meeting leads with companies interested in the Turkish partners’ products and services.

BUSINESS QUEST INDIA

Client: Pro Manchester

Project: Kinetic Cubed co-sponsored and organised a high level Business Quest (learning journey) to India to promote Manchester’s financial and professional services capabilities to the Indian market and to promote the city region of Manchester and what it has to offer.
