Renu Nanwani - Senior Consultant India
Renu was born and brought up in India. She started her career at a very early age as an
entrepreneur in the travel industry. She then moved to the Canary Islands for a few years and
worked for a marketing and management consultancy company. However, her passion for India brought
her back to her roots and on her return to India she spearheaded the Pune branch of the Indo -
American Chamber Of Commerce as Executive Secretary for several years. It was here that she
created a broad network of contacts with a wide number of different ICT, BPO, Manufacturing
and Engineering companies across India.
She then moved on to enhance her skills and worked with a consultancy firm focusing on
generating awareness of the facilities and advantages of 'near shore' operations in Northern
Ireland. This helped increased employment in Northern Ireland and helped Indian companies reach
their objectives on competitiveness.
Renu is a graduate from Pune (known as the 'Oxford of the East') University with Banking as a
specialisation. She also has an MBA which was followed by a Diploma in Securities and Investment
Law and a Diploma in Law relating to Corporate Mergers, Acquisitions and Reconstruction from the
world famous Asian School of Cyber Law.
Renu is a fun-loving perfectionist and likes to read a lot. Besides enjoying outdoor activities,
she loves cycling - in fact she sometimes wishes there were no cars so that people could cycle
safely and live in an eco friendly world. In the absence of outdoor activities, she likes to
listen to instrumental music with a good book and chill out by the pool.
